1. Introduction — scope
These Terms & Conditions govern sales of handmade art, prints, keychains and similar items sold by Amelia Bronowicka via the shop hosted on Big Cartel. By placing an order you accept these Terms. The shop is operated by a private individual (not a company).

2. Definitions
Seller — Amelia Bronowicka.
Buyer / Customer — a person who places an order (private consumer).
Products — handmade prints, keychains, and other small art items sold in the shop.
Personalised products — items made or altered to customer specification (signed prints with a name/dedication, custom portraits, etc.).

3. Orders & contract formation
Orders are placed through the Big Cartel checkout. After you place an order you will receive an order confirmation by email. The contract is formed when the Seller sends the order confirmation email.
If payment is required in advance, the order will be processed after the Seller receives payment.

4. Prices & payment
All prices are shown in EUR. Prices on product pages include any local taxes charged by the Seller if applicable. Shipping costs, customs, or import charges (if any) are added at checkout or displayed before payment.
Accepted payment methods: PayPal and card payments via the Big Cartel payment system (or other methods enabled in the shop). Payment processing is handled by third parties (e.g. PayPal).
Payment is taken at the time of purchase (unless you choose a payment-on-delivery option where available).

5. Processing time & shipping
Handmade items: processing time (creation & packing) is typically 3–14 business days from the moment payment is received unless another timeframe is specified at the product page.
Shipping destinations (current): Poland, European Union countries and the United Kingdom. If or when shipping to other countries (e.g. USA) becomes available, the shop will update this page.
Estimated delivery times (after dispatch): domestic (Poland) usually 1–5 business days; EU typically 3–14 business days; UK typically 5–21 business days. These are estimates — actual delivery times depend on the carrier and customs.
Shipping costs and options are shown at checkout. The customer is responsible for selecting the preferred shipping method.
Customs & import taxes: For shipments to the UK and any non-EU countries, customs duties, import taxes or handling fees may apply and are the responsibility of the buyer. The Seller cannot control these charges.

6. Delivery acceptance & risk
The Seller takes care to package items securely. Responsibility for loss or damage in transit remains with the Seller until the item is delivered to the buyer or to the carrier appointed by the buyer. If you receive an item that is clearly damaged in transit, please contact the Seller immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage and packaging.

7. Returns — right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract without reason within 14 calendar days from the day after you receive the goods. To exercise this right, inform the Seller (email: [email protected]) before the 14-day period expires. You may use the standard withdrawal form but it is not mandatory.
After informing the Seller, return the product within 14 days. The buyer is responsible for reasonable return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed. The Seller will refund the price of the item and the original shipping cost (the cheapest shipping option offered by the Seller) within 14 days of receiving the returned item or proof of its return shipment.
Condition of returned goods: You may open and inspect the goods as you would in a physical shop. If the product is used in a way that reduces its value beyond inspection, the Seller may claim compensation for that reduction in value.
Important exception for personalised products: The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised/custom-made items (e.g. prints signed with a customer’s name, custom portraits, items made to order). For personalised products returns are accepted only if the item arrives damaged or is materially not as described — otherwise personalised items are non-returnable.

8. Faulty items & complaints
All products are covered by legal consumer rights for faulty goods. In the EU the Seller is responsible for supplying goods that conform to the contract. If an item is faulty, you may request repair, replacement, price reduction, or a refund depending on the situation and local consumer law.
To report a faulty item, contact the Seller at [email protected] with a description and photos. The Seller will respond and propose a remedy. If a return of a faulty product is required, the Seller will normally cover the return shipping cost.

9. Personalised & commissioned items
Personalised or commissioned works are prepared according to customer instructions. Because these items are made to specification, they are not covered by the 14-day withdrawal right except where the item is faulty or materially different from the agreed specification. Please read the product description carefully and confirm personalization details before ordering.

10. Data protection (simple GDPR/RODO note)

Your personal data (name, address, email) is processed only to the extent necessary to process and deliver your order, to handle payments and to communicate about the order. Data may be shared with Big Cartel, payment processors (e.g. PayPal) and carriers only to the extent necessary to perform the contract.
You have rights under GDPR/RODO including access to your data, correction, deletion (where no legal retention obligation applies), restriction of processing, and data portability. To exercise your rights contact [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (UODO).

11. Intellectual property
All artwork, prints and images are the intellectual property of the Seller unless stated otherwise. Buyers receive a physical product only — unless explicitly granted in writing, no right to reproduce, resell or commercially exploit digital/visual designs is transferred with the purchase.

12. Liability
The Seller’s liability for non-performance or improper performance of the contract is limited to the remedies set out in these Terms and applicable consumer laws. The Seller is not liable for delays or loss caused by the carrier, customs, or events beyond reasonable control.

13. Future items (e.g. apparel)
The shop may introduce new product types in the future (e.g. printed T-shirts). Any specific terms for those products (sizes, returns for printed apparel, etc.) will be announced on the product page and in updated shop policies.

14. Changes to these Terms
The Seller may update these Terms from time to time. The current Terms will be available on the shop page and show the effective date. Changes will not affect orders completed before the change comes into force.

15. Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer in another EU country or the UK, you also retain the protection provided by mandatory rules of your country of residence. For disputes the parties should attempt amicable settlement first — consumers can also seek help from local consumer protection authorities or a consumer mediator.
